Born in 1987, Adrian begins electronic music in 2007 with some friends for an initial project based on a parody and zany spirit. He began in 2009 to produce a single and released his first EP on So French Records. Follow many official remixes for “Something A La Mode”, the prodigious Neus and even the legendary death metal band “Morbid Angel”.
Today Adrian Wreck released 3 Eps on So French Records, and is working on his first album. His style ranges from Electro, Nu-Disco and Trash.
Today Adrian Wreck presents a remix Ep including his original banger song, single extracted from his first album (due out early 2017 on so french records), contains four remixes concocted by Mac Stanton, Karl Fraunhofer, Vondkreistan, Dj Loryn and Butyreux.

The four track EP kick starts with a tried and tested energy booster, ‘George Costanza’ accompanied with a Robert Dietz remix under the alias R10. A slick and intelligently arranged rhythm leads you in to the path of an irresistible groove that can not be avoided. Carrying the dance floor as it bounces its journey round the room, letting the ice cold hi hats doing their business. A track that seems to mature as each second passes by, a killer guitar acknowledges you when you reach the last third. The man of many aliases Robert Dietz slips in undercover as R10 for the remix here, an infectious elastic bass line accompanied by a spaced out mood. Definitely one to set the vibe. The remaining two records go under the same title ‘Fermi Paradox’ but two versions. The ‘Night Version’ is a stripped back affair, hypnotic rolls with a significant groove at the heart beat of the track. A cool voice sample, is the icing on the cake of this trip. The ‘Day Version’, as expected is slightly more lighter on its feet, lifting the atmosphere to round off the EP, with a dream like state. You can feel the potential moments that could be had soundtracked by this track. Both versions will be taking the fancy of minimal tastemakers and diggers.

Norwegian techno institution Ploink launches annual series entitled ‘Affinity’ with its debut release featuring names like Skatebård, HndS, Roeglin, Fraunhofer and Priq.
Based in Bergen, Ploink has been flying the flag for Norwegian techno for well over two decades, organising some of the country’s best events and festivals. Co-founded by Thomas Urv and Miss Mostly, the label was born five years ago and has since released music from an array of homegrown talent including Mental Overdrive, Prins Thomas, +plattform, Joaquin Ruiz, Christian Tilt, and more.
Launching the label’s new ‘Affinity’ series, BerlinaFürTechno’s Roeglin is first with ‘Norm’ which opens with glitched stabs, vocals and a tight drum pattern. Picking up the pace, Fraunhofer - formerly known as Dortmund - returns to the label bringing a shuffling rhythm, crunchy cymbals and spacy synths in ‘Saturn’.
Bergen dance music royalty Skatebård remixes ‘Wake Up’ by London-based Scandinavian duo HndS, maintaining the energy with thumping bass and bouncing chords. Tying it all together, Norwegian producer and drummer Priq’s ‘Area’ sweeps in with decayed keys, pulsing percussion and a gripping atmosphere.

‘Affinity 1’ drops on Ploink on 27th September 2019.

Dortmund New Teaser!

Karl Fraunhofer is fluent in the languages of machine music. He’s a synth whisperer, a savant in the studio and a pretender across electronic music genres. From his first productions, which touched on the hedonistic heights of Trance to the stark minimal Techno he creates today in the Det Gode Selskab camp, Karl Fraunhofer has a versatile affinity for electronic music.

Born in Oslo, Norway and raised on Jazz, Karl had spent his youth learning to play several instruments.

After school, he enrolled in a sound engineering course on the opposite end of the world in Australia, where House, Minimal and Techno inspired Karl on a path to the producer and DJ he is today. He came back to Norway armed with this new knowledge and started building an impressive studio, which will leave most green with envy. He became ever more eloquent in his musical vocabulary as experience and perfection combined in across a wide palette of musical genres.

The brutalist Techno he made as Dortmund with Florian aka Illstm; the arcade synthwave he culled under his eponymous alias; and the slick minimal Techno and Micro House he makes today with his Gode Selskab compatriots have found themselves on esteemed labels from around the world most notably Teen age riot, Turbo records, Sony Intaly, Vocabula, Ploink, Beatservice and Det Gode Selskab.  

It’s with the Gode Selskab that Karl has entered into the latest chapter of his career and has found a collective and an outlet that can indulge his extensive musical fancies with remixes and releases dotting the label’s young discography. Today they run a studio together with Karl at the helm of the controls and an arsenal of vintage and modern synthesisers and drum machines, gleaning evocative sounds from the future across a spectrum of creative outlets.
