Hi, it's me. Markus Stadelmann, born in January 1965, Lucerne, Switzerland.


My first synt I bought at about the age of 20 (Yamaha DX-7).
No, I could not play the keys at all at that time. Since I came from electronics, I only liked to program it. After about two years I realized that I could play music with it, hahaha. I was strongly influenced by Jean Michele Jarre at that time.


Then in a sudden I played the synths in bands not knowing any musical notes. I still don't know them, but who cares ;-)
The last about 12 years I played the synths with the band "Wendigo" (www.wendigo.ch) whereby I also was one of the two leadsingers.
We called our style "Melodic Art Rock Pop". Our songs certainly were influenced by Marillion, Saga and such kind of stuff.



Because I changed my job in 2005 I had no longer timer to do any music at all.
Two weeks ago - meanwhile it's 2011 - I pushed the start knob of my old computer to do some tweaks on "I had a Love Dream Tonight".
It is the coolest hobby on earth and it will remain as my hobby. Actually, I still have no time for doing it...


Music was and is a important part of my life but that is only one part of life. I'm married with Esther and have to children. Philippe (1994) meanwhile uses half of my gear and makes some cool tunes himslef. Now, he is dreaming the dream of making money with music I buried long time ago... Noemi (1997), she loves singing.



Don't think about playing music. Just do it!
