Recorded September 2nd 2023 during sessions for the yet to be named Freakman album... Before the recording I was recording a rare 1920s vinyl with my studio mic and completely forgot to correct the position before recording this take, so it has this odd distant sound to it as the mic position was completely off, but it really works for this song so I thought I'd share this!

Originally written in February, this is one of my many fuck you songs to chauvinists, misogynists, and indeed the sexist death cult of the manosphere... Enjoy!

Here's an early demo of a song now called 'State of The Manosphere' and with a different ending, at this point (July 10th) called 'GB News'... Just a simple demo to get the idea of how the song could sound when properly recorded, a few overdubs - including distorted bass!

I'm quite happy with how this song is sounding, the chord progression is fairly simple - just a descending pattern of Am (with a touch of Asus2) G F (with a touch of Cmaj13) and Em (with a touch of Em7)... Enjoy!

This song dates all the way back to late 2021 and has quite a complex lineage, but as it exists today it's essentially a medley of a few songs I've written - this will be the opening of my play Freakland - and very possibly the opener of the album, we shall see...
