MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! It's a psychedelic nighttime journey deep into the enchanted forest – where high energy pulses meet funky twists and dark, shroomy textures.
Expect rolling basslines, twisted rhythms, and sonic surprises that pull you straight into the tangled corners of my curly brain.
Hurlumhejhuset isn’t just a set – it’s a sonic rollercoaster through my inner galaxy maze, where every beat leads to the next bizarre, beautiful detour.

FreakyMindControl is a prominent figure in the Danish psytrance community. Known for his legendary underground festivals titled "Follow The Magic Mushroom,"
He started his passion for music with guitar and drums, and found in an early ages his love to electronic music. started playing as DJ in 2011. He has a diverse taste of music, dj'ing all from melodic chillout, Progressive psytrance to some of the darkest psytrance tunes to captivate your ears and immerse you in the experience, with spacey and groovy soundscapes. 

He also have a passion for joggling, where you will see him around festivals with his Devil sticks. He specially love to play with fire and led sticks.
Showcases his skills as a Fire Artist, often captivating audiences at Danish outdoor parties.
