🇻🇪 bb Basura works both as a DJ and in sound for theater and film. She has performed and played at venues such as MoMA PS1, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, Berlin Community Radio, the secret rave by the river, and cross country queer celebrations and festivals such as Pansyfest and Idapalooza. Her creative work is characterized by a centering and embracing of queer and global south club music, dance, and thunderous sound. Her performances exist as a carrier of stories and memories, and as a practice of imagining and creating more hopeful and alternative possibilities and environments for queer and trans joy and healing.

Harsh noise electronics with extreme performance art including needle play, body stitching, and live blood letting. dagger wound brings abrasive sounds with a strong political message and a cathartic and transgressive performance style that slices through reality. he is motivated by his desire for a better world and his lifestyle as an underground trans freak, sex worker, farmer, and transient. he has toured nationally and internationally as 1/2 of mirrored fatality and nationally as dagger wound and has collaborated with multidisciplinary queer and trans artists across the world. he is the sword and the wound, the guillotine and decapitation. He’s releasing his first solo tape GUILLOTINE & DECAPITATION through stolen time in April and will be debuting new collaborative projects including forced castration, murderwound, bloodrot, and noisey shore by the summer. 
He is currently creating a body of work honoring Lawu, his beloved life partner who tragically and horrifically died in a car crash.
