This track by Grimes was supposed to be on her discarded 2014 album with Go, REALiTi's demo version, etc. Which for personal reasons she decided not to release (the song talks about the loss of his friend David in 2009). She played at some festivals, probably one of her best works, I honestly miss this Grimes and hope she is safe somewhere.

my cover/rendition of Ethel Cain's "Etienne." everything is recorded by myself, apart from two samples. one being the drums, which I sampled from Boogie with Stu, and the isolated vocals of NIN closer. this track is very dear to me, and likely always will be.
