White Cloud In A Dancing Grey

This song started out as a backing track which I wrote for my good friend Graham J Williams for his super rock song Sooner or Later. I’ve always liked the song and I wanted to see if I could come up with something which kept the spirit of the original but was also significantly different and, most importantly, ‘hooky’ enough to stand on its own purely as an instrumental track. It took quite some time to get what I was after. Way too long in fact! But I hope I’ve come up with something that works well and contains some contrasting elements to the overall rock feel of the track. Although I mix all my songs using headphones, this track really does work better with them and I’m not really sure why! I’m definitely open to any feedback on this one!
