Fresh off the back of his stunning new album for @metaphysicallabel, @sailorandi continues to share remixes from a host of vital artists. Next up is an Andhim remix of 'Sleep' feat. Luca Vasta, following on from CamelPhat's take on 'Best Of Me' with ARTBAT.

The Andhim duo having sharing their fresh and intricate house sounds for a decade. They have release credits on labels like Get Physical, Stil Vor Talent and their very own Superfriends Records imprint, and now they impress once more.

The original of 'Sleep' was a lush and melodic track at the heart the album and one that sunk you deep into the artist's rich musical world. In Andhim's hands it is a brilliantly inventive track with a rugged rhythm and punchy drums. The vocals still get layered in from above with a real sense of soul, and cosmic synths light up the whole production. Tender and emotive yet highly impactful, this is an innovative remix indeed!

Once again a contemporary artist shares their own fresh perception to another fantastic Sailor & I original.

Arriving hot on the heels of his latest EP for JEUDI Records titled “Fax From Mars”, his latest installment for Ya Hala Ya Hala showcases his singular vision – merging his unique ethos
with rhythms and melodies driving tempos that demand listeners to lean in and participate.
  
The ‘Trip to Bianya’ was laid out with the mindset of an upcoming journey to a spirit-opening destination. 
The steady bass-heavy groove and rhythm guitars are leaning in the direction of the soundscape of the 80s while the dark guitar pads and the oriental-like Moog melody are giving the tune a mysterious and exciting twist.

The ‘Setting of the Sun’ was initially inspired by a visit to the legendary vibrant marketplace of Marakesch Jemaa el-Fnaa. It is a piece of driving percussions and storyteller chants reflecting this place full of soul and magic. Shuffley shakers, and some simple, yet brilliant melodies flow into a huge unexpected drop that is guaranteed to lift off some club roofs wherever it’s played out loud.

Thomas Gandey hits Noir Music later this week (Friday 23rd December) with his rework of ‘Lovemachine’, 1978 future disco band, Supermax’s track of the same name. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of it above.

Gandey first rose to prominence in the mid noughties as Cagedbaby, and has since gone on under his own name to see release through Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, Suara, OFF, Desolat and Monkeytown.

On his rework of ‘Lovemachine’, Gandey turns in an arresting cut tailored for late night dancefloors, complete with his trademark haunting vocals. It comes as part of a two-tracker that features Re.you and Pleasurekraft’s remix on the flip.

the track "Colourblind" by "Alex Connors & Hardy Heller" was produced already some time ago. Tested and played for around 2 years it is now time to release this little beauty.

"Colourblind" will be released as part of the compilation "Various Artists - Ohral Is In The Air" soon on "Evosonic Records".

The story behind this sampler is: Parts of the Ohral Artist(Ohral is also a quiet well known eventseries in the south west of Germany, parts of the Ohral Family is now bringing the well-known event series from "On Air" -  to "In The Air" - just that you get ist right: "Ohral On Air" is the name of a weekly radio show that we also do. The radio show is broadcasted every wednesday evening 8PM (CET) on Evosonic Radio (www.evosonic.de) and brings you exciting dj mixes from the likes of "Mihai Popoviciu, Marc DePulse, Gorge, our residents and of course we announce the latest news out of the ohral universe.

But from now on we do not only broadcast a radio show on "Evosonic", but also release this "Mini-Album" on their label named - strange enough - "Evosonic Records". 

After we released on our own "ohral imprint", as well as on for example Plastic City, Harthouse, Poker Flat  and BluFin Records in the last 12 months, we are now delivering this mini album called "Ohral Is In The Air". 

Beside "Colour Blind" by Alex Connors & Hardy Heller  you'll find also other very cool artists and music... twice deep house, once house and twice techno, one from the hypnotic drawer and one for the peaktime. 

Like at our events: Ohral is never just one style. Not at our quiet legendary parties, never on our own record label and also not in our "Ohral On Air Radio Show".
