Hailing from Jordan but now based in Spain, Fairplay is an alternative electronic duo characterized by an eclectic and deep approach. With this release on Zatar Music, Faisal and Fuad effortlessly merge sounds and styles, bringing together traditional North African / Middle Eastern influences with trippy, hypnotic grooves.

Teaming up with Houston, TX-based DJ and producer Omar Beik, their new track “Dinyeh” combines drones with lush string flourishes, hand drums, and a driving, techy groove.

The remix by David Mayer and Nico Stojan brings us even deeper into the extended, hallucinatory zone, building a deeply layered and atmospheric vibe perfectly complementary to the original.

“'Dinyeh' means 'the world' in Arabic, and that’s exactly what this track holds inside it," say Fairplay. “Blending warm Arabic textures with deep, driving rhythms, it moves between nostalgia and momentum.
The break is where everything comes into focus – emotional and cinematic, like a memory just out of reach. Dinyeh is a song about longing, movement, and the spaces in between; one foot on the dance floor, one in a dream.”

About the remix, David Mayer says: “My fellowship with Nico started long ago. We met in 2015 in New Zealand, where he offered me to remix ‘The Blue Hour’ feat. JAW for his album, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. After the Fling EP and several other originals in the pipeline, the Fairplay remix is our first remix together. We created the sketch in a bubbly one-nighter and had loads of fun.”

(Howcee) Productions Gospel Artist Freddie C. Howard has been in music all his life. My first music instrument was a Sears and Roebuck organ in 1961. I once wrote a letter to Sammy Davis Jr. for a drum set. This was my awaking to the real world. I was told by Sammy Davis Jr. That he had no money for such but he had already given to charity. I began from that moment to make it in the music business with or without his help.
I was 13 at the time. I played drums. B flat tennor sax. and piano in high school and was playing for local church youth choirs. Wrote a song call “Old Girl”sent off to a music publisher later found out some one else had claim the song. Got my first band in 1973 Tucson Az. Call the “Thosen Few” played on college campuses. Playing night clubs for college kids.Stop playing music for over 40 years. Raised a family returned to church, join the church choir Retired from AL.Dept.Corrections after 29 years in 2009. Return to playing the piano build a home recording studio in my son’s room. Played at several local AL. festivals. Now writing and playing music doing what I love. Making and recording my own music.
