Biography

Amok Sun is the moniker of Silviu Iosif, an independent music artist and visual designer based in the United Kingdom. Known for blending deep emotional resonance with intricate, beat-driven soundscapes, Amok Sun crafts immersive music rooted in electronic experimentation, drawing from IDM, techno, and drum and bass. While his early work carried the textures of alternative and psychedelic rock, his evolving sound now explores the rich terrain of modern electronic music.

With a background in sociology, research, and design, Silviu brings a thoughtful and conceptual approach to his art. His professional experience in the tech industry—as a User Interface and UX Designer, Project Lead, and Mentor—informs the structured, detail-oriented nature of both his sound and visual work.

Amok Sun handles all aspects of his creative process independently, from composition and production to visual design, video, and branding—forming a cohesive and personal artistic identity.

Recent releases include the introspective single “Held by Silence”, the collaborative track “Pathfinder” with fellow electronic artist Spacey Panda, and the full-length album “233°C”, a bold journey through layered rhythms, ambient textures, and introspective moods.

He has released music with TITAN Music, an experimental label based in Melbourne, and is currently collaborating with Beta-Time Records, a forward-thinking label based in Berlin that champions underground, genre-defying electronic music. Through these creative alliances and an ever-evolving vision, Amok Sun continues to expand the boundaries of his sound and artistic expression.

My name is Alexander (KAB) I’m 36 years old “Ukraine” Kiev. , I am a beginner but actively developing musician and producer. ☮

Using my own unique combination of rhythms and musical styles, as well as my energy and positivity, which I happily transfer to the dance floor, “But” my musical morals often violate all the rules of the Dj game. There were many pros and cons whether it was mine or not, but I decided that it was still mine! I began to realize myself as an artist, despite the difficulties and criticism, and without even thinking that something good would come of it in the end. But I was wrong), I use my personal playing technique in my mixes. Playing the way I personally hear and feel. And this fact became the start of my project and the motive to continue. Having also revealed in myself just a huge affection and disposition for electronic music of different genres and directions, but still using my individual style of playing, as well as chips that break all possible rules of the game in Dj, as I wrote earlier. Yes, the rules are not about me. I don't want to repeat myself! I love uniqueness, my only rule is to develop your skill and just desire, to convey your goodness and your positivity, but in music to the dance floor. And also have a great sense of sound and rhythm. with all my heart! I know how to find a musical approach to every guest or subscriber who shares my energy and my vibe with me) I’ve been familiar with electronic music since the distant 90s-20s. But alas.. no matter how much I didn’t want it, unfortunately I had to press pause and take a long creative and musical academic leave (and in 2014, after a protracted illness and a long musical break.. not thinking that I would ever see myself dancing on the dance floor again, and even more so at the helm of a musical stage, as an artist and musician, and not an ordinary fanatic, with his own musical morals.
