From Another Mind, the techno party and label from southern Germany, is putting out a pair of remix EPs in February. 

Version 004.1 and Version 004.2 are made of reworks of material that From Another Mind bosses SHDW and Obscure Shape have released across three EPs since launching the label in 2015. The lineup of remixers includes some of the biggest names in the business. Rødhåd leads off the first set, which also features James Ruskin, Dax J and Shlømo. Meanwhile, the second EP opens with a joint rework from Tale Of Us and Mind Against, with Inland, Ryan James Ford and Konstantin Sibold contributing as well. 

Both EPs will come on vinyl and digital formats, with separate cover artwork that's designed to sit next to each other.

This month's podcast is mixed by Inhalt der Nacht (@inhaltdernacht).

Inhalt der Nacht is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, defined by a singular sound imprint inspired by cold wave and new wave beats. 

Through his productions, Inhalt Der Nacht, gives us his own interpretation of EBM-fused Techno.

He has already been noticed by well-known artists as Dax J and created his own label called 'Lebendig' (@lebendigtrax). He also enjoys a residency at the famous Berlin club Griessmuehle (@griessmuehle).

Quartz Rec has curated their latest EP with original music by Portuguese based Cardao and a remix from Kmyle who like the label itself, is from Paris.

Also making a cameo on this package is the label honcho Paul Ritch whose sound is forever moving into new realms having accolades such as collaborating with Giorgio Gigli, remixing Marco Bailey, and releasing on the likes of Adam Beyer’s Drumcode or Dubfire’s SCI+TEC amongst many others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the original “Doubies” that has a jumping, analogue sound with abrasive tones and raw energy. As it rolls forward, it switches things up with a huge synth squeal creating an anthemic vibe set for destroying club systems the world over.

As a DJ and producer, Setaoc Mass is part of a select cut of young artists who are absorbing techno’s legacy and carrying the torch into tomorrow. Whilst overseeing his own imprint SK_eleven, his releases push a galvanising brand of techno, steeped in a sense of urgency, ever-propulsive with acute detailing and nods to a futuristic space-age. In addition to a debut release on Len Faki’s Figure which has caught the eye of some of the scene’s most respected DJ’s. As a selector, the Mancunian’s extended DJ sets pull from an expansive spectrum of material both new and old.
