I want to weave a gentle, emotional orchestral language, that speaks about live and touches the heart. I try to capture these ephemeral, timeless, and moving moments, transcribing them with devotion to sound and recording them in the sound studio.

I make the kind of music that I like to listen to. Its got some of everything. We aren't just one dimensional. so I like to write music, and use rock, alternative, edm, hip hop, dance, and anything with some relatable theme. Ive been writing since I was a teenager, but lately felt that Im to quiet. Maybe with some beats, and some hype and a bit of melody we can become renegades together. Paul is an experienced, conservatoire-trained composer based in Liverpool, UK, who has composed for corporate videos and short film projects.

Previously a member of the Demo artist team for Soundpaint/8dio, Paul now composes epic orchestral music for 'FRAMESHIFT MUSIC' and has recently scored an independent short documentary 'FIRESTARTERS'.

Paul specialises in a hybrid compositional approach that mixes Orchestral and Electronic elements, bringing a modern compositional approach and sound to your project, from intimate instrumental combinations to large-format action / dramatic styles. Paul has a wide range of experience with various musical genres and will always strive to find a signature sound that suits a given project.

Paul is always open to the opinions of others regarding the direction of composed media and works well with project leaders and directors regarding tailoring the music to the needs of a specific project.

When not composing, Paul teaches music theory and Guitar at a local music school and is an experienced live performer.

Paul studied at Leeds Conservatoire in the UK, attaining a degree in Jazz Studies. He also earned a Master's degree with Merit in Professional Media Composition from Thinkspace Education, a partnership with Chichester University.
