Frederic La Verde is a very talented French-Sicilian professional pianist and a film music composer. He started to play the piano at the age of 3. He receives numerous prestigious piano awards from the Conservatoire of Clermont-Ferrand (France) at a very young age. After 15 years of classical music studies and Jazz studies (Berklee American school), Frederic plays with some recognized symphonic orchestras and various famous pop singers on French television.

It is a very special encounter with the well-known conductor Michel Legrand that has encouraged Frederic to focus his career on performing and composing film music soundtracks. To date, Frederic has composed over 250 original pieces for piano solo and symphonic orchestra, and collaborated with numerous film producers.

In 2009, Frederic chooses to share his passion for music with a wider audience by creating a unique concept, allowing him to perform wherever his audience is: a customised red piano fastened to a small stage that can be easily carried everywhere and installed in 20 minutes. That is how “Le Piano Rouge” was born.

Over the last 6 years, Frederic La Verde and “Le Piano Rouge” have performed at numerous prestigious places all over Europe: on the 34th floor of the BT Towers (London), on the Fort Louvois (a fortress in the middle of the Ocean), on the Transbordeur Bridge of Rochefort (France), in the Museum of Natural History of Paris, at the Gallery St Hubert of Brussels, on the beach in Ile de Ré (France), in La Rochelle (France) … and most recently at the Orangery of Kensington Gardens in London.

Frederic’s innovative concept of coming and performing with his “Piano Rouge” is prestigious and totally unique in the world. The public always welcomes with great pleasure the dexterity of the charming virtuoso and the richness of his repertoire: classical composers, musicals, Disney movies, British and French movies, Hollywood movies …
