Created by Frederik Czerny: "The Spieluhr was a gift for easter from some good friends. After playing the included demo note sheet with it, I fell in love with the sound of the instrument and decided to sample it.
The main reason for this was the limited range and number of notes. I wanted it to be more versatile and also experiment with the sound in order to actually use it in pieces.

Also I thought this might be a good opportunity to give something back to the community and all the people involved in creating those great libraries. And a special thanks of course to Christian Henson for starting Spitfire Audio and Pianobook."

Messages in Memories

This started as a piano improvisation over a simple chord progression. I ended up using a Pianobook sampled piano called The Hoffman. I added orchestral parts using Spitfire British Drama Toolkit and Studio Strings.
