Hot Creations hit us with another monster of a release this time from Tom Dinsdale (ex-Audio Bully’s) under his new project Mineo. Title track ‘Turn Out The Lights’ is an intoxicatingly deep groover with a dense low riding bassline, punchy warm chords and an infectious dark male vocal adding a real standout element for the dancefloor. Over on the B-side label head Jamie Jones is on remix duty to deliver one of his best, picking up the pace and turning it into a deep and powerful techy monster, twisted and dark, perfect for the later hours. On a more uplifting tip, the second track from Mineo ‘Off The Handle’ again carries that distinct UK sound. Bass heavy with perfect underlying swing the track twists and turns through different percussion patterns with captivating distorted vocals riding through the many layers.

Tom Dinsdale aka Mineo has been buried away in the studio for the past eighteen months working on music for his new solo project. Sending the tracks to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss as demos, they were soon snapped up and have become a staple part in both of their sets, smashing dancefloors worldwide from Ibiza to Burning Man festival.

Busier than ever with his hectic schedule, Jamie Jones has been touring as a solo artist but also along with Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca C as their Hot Natured band, headlining their own events at the likes of Brixton Academy and festivals including Sonar and Glastonbury. Along with this Jamie has been running his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza for it’s second year with huge line ups featuring big names like Richie Hawtin and Loco Dice but also the new artists Jamie is pushing such as wAFF and Patrick Topping. Finding the time somehow, Jamie has also been hard at work in the studio producing music with the Hot Natured crew with a recent debut album release and also doing a number of remixes for his three record labels.

Shadow Child lands his sparkling new single Friday featuring the stunning vocals of the fast rising Takura.

UK producer and DJ, Shadow Child has had a momentous 16 months, from releasing his 23 EP on own nascent Food Music imprint, the mighty So High via Moda Black to the landmark String Thing via Dirtybird.

Since we like to bring people together and are always eager to hear new combinations of talent, we have the honor of witnessing Florian team up with another family member, Mr Kevin Knapp, of recent Hot Creations fame, who delights us again both with his freshly honed production skills and with his perfect voice in yet another couple club pleasers.
"The Block" is a heavy drum jacker, with a grooving bassline and deep overall vibe topped with a cool synth stab progression where Kevin gets on the mic with a combination of inspired rappin and speech stabs that turn a track into a whole trip experience. 

On a similar synth driven tip "Home" gets more of Mr Knapps rap licks and a very phat bubbly analog bass action for great effect. 
Florian and Kevin seemed to have struck a balance both as CO-Producers and as mates that is evident in their music productions.

To wrap up the package we brought Defected's established underground hit makers Flashmob from Italy for remix duties, and they truly delivered turning around "The Block" into a raw drum machine chicago inspired acidic track.

A killer release by some of the industries most respected names, can't be missed!

Following a premiere on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show, the new vocal version of 'Piano Weapon' (co-written by MNEK) will be released by Polydor Records this November. Following a run of remixes for big names such as Hot Natured, London Grammar and most recently Duke Dumont, Shadow Child is currently working on original material and playing a run of live dates in Ibiza and across the UK including a London show supporting the legendary Groove Armada.
 
Simon Neale’s darker, bass-heavy alter ego Shadow Child was born in 2012 with the signing of his bassline house classic ‘String Thing’ to Dirtybird Records. Championed across the world by DJs including Annie Mac, Jamie Jones and Eats Everything, Shadow Child’s early house tracks have attracted a global fan base. Continuing a busy run of recent releases on Minus is one of the label's core contributors, namely Jon Gaiser. Since late 2005, the Detroit-born, Berlin-based producer has been intrinsically linked to the rise and rise of the label owing to key releases like his Eye Contact EP, genre defining 2008 full length, Blank Fade, and last year's huge EP, Unstable Witness.

After the success obtained with the last work of the Pakistani VIVID, which main track “ I go to extremes” has got a massive support from Ellen Allien, arrives the first EP from one of the new talents of Suruba Family, the germanic Jorge Takei. 

Fabian Wolf is Jorge Takei, a young producer from Cologne, which after publishing several tracks in different labels, was with Cimelde when he got the attention from artist like Maceo Plex, Lee Foss, Soul Calp, Brodinski and most of all from Los Suruba. 

With this first work for Suruba, he presents an EP with 2 cuts with house and disco influences, giving his personal touch with a strong deep style, sexy and electronic.
 
 To complete his release, a remix from the label owners, Los Suruba. After a great start of this year with  their “Mantis EP” in Suruba and mainly with their first EP on Get Physical, showing us their production versatility where their deep and elegant side is revealed.

Production duo Tokyo Black Star AKA Alex Prat and Isao Kumano have made quite a name for themselves over the past few years, releasing a string of singles for leading labels such as Innervision and Deeply Rooted, remixing for luminaries such as Carl Craig and playing live to audiences across the globe. Now the Tokyo/NYC based pair have joined forces with one of Japans most respected electronic labels, APT international for a brand new single. Tokyo House Underground: Together EP kicks off with the original mix of Together, a raw house workout that fuses bold piano chords, arpeggiated synths lines and stark drum programming with edgy FX and soulful vocal hooks to wonderful effect, evoking an old school feel with its bold fusion. Next up we have the brilliant New Jack City, a jacking cut built around a Moroder inspired bassline and tight percussive elements that has an electronic funk to it that is hard to ignore, hypnotic to the extreme this is one of those records that could just run and run, sublime! Finally APT International favourite Hideo Kobayashi remixes Together, turning in a superb rolling techno version that locks into a deep and dark groove before metamorphosing into an uplifting melodic drop designed to get the hairs standing on end. With the Together EP Tokyo Black Star have delivered another sterling release that is set to keep dancefloors alight in the months to come, enjoy!

3. He's one of the true heroes of housemusic and as many say one of the best djs on the planet.

We are really happy to welcome such a legendary producer on the label. With these tracks he just entered our hearts and made us jump + dance.
