Young Sol was born and bred in the Isle of Man, a tiny island in the middle of the Irish Sea.  A huge lover of all sounds and styles on the musical spectre but specifically drawn to anything soulful or funky. Mixing music at various parties and local festivals for the last couple of years and helping out where he can at Sound Records… The first record shop on the island since the vinyl revival. 
Young Sol incorporates music from every era and genre in his mixes to take people on a journey through time, cultures and countries across the map. From Funk & Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop to Disco, House, Techno and Drum & Bass/Jungle. Always diggin  for fresh and new wax or digital sounds. 
Also operates the Brother Bear Podcast series… Weekly sessions of smooth selectors from around the globe. It consists of some of his famous artists, any upcoming DJ/Producers or music collectives that are creating musical movements in their hometowns.
Currently residing in Barcelona on a journey to start up his own label and host some parties for like minded people.

We are thrilled to present today a new mix for our #StayHomeDisco series from Funk Style Quality, aka @fsqofficial .

Funk Style Quality is a six member production team founded by the late great Sa'd The Hourchild Ali and Chuck Da Fonk Fishman, who met in the mid-1990s as touring members of George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic (P-Funk). Soul Clap launched the group in 2014 with the FSQ debut EP *Zulu Congo Call* and marvelous FSQ remix work appeared on future records from the Soul Clap Extended Universe including Lonely C and Kendra Foster's "Hold Up" and Nona Hendryx's "Keep Funkin'." Other FSQ remixes can be found on labels ranging from Midnight Riot Records, ULTRA Music, Wolf + Lamb, BBE and many others. 

We're thrilled to have this mix full of new FSQ music, some of it exclusive to this mix.
