Metro D, born Damian Lavell Williams, is a rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer from Dallas, TX, known for his melodic, auto-tuned vocals and Future-inspired sound. His journey began at 8 years old in his grandparents’ home, surrounded by R&B and blues. Influenced by artists like Future, Lil Wayne, and Michael Jackson, he developed a passion for music early on.

His uncle, 2Rs—a rapper himself—gifted him a laptop with FL Studio and helped him make beats as a teen. After pausing songwriting at 13 to focus on school, Metro D later reignited his passion through producing, joining the collective NLYSB (Never Leave Your Squad Behind) in 2019 alongside Brocyl, Lil Stease, DollaProductionz, Solo Beatz, Lazermade, and TB Beatz.

Following his 2021 graduation, he returned to writing in 2023 with help from his cousin and collaborator Tms Tystar, creating music through BandLab. In 2024, he dropped four projects: Visions, Militia, 10TILL08, and Visions 2: Underestimated.

In 2025, he released 4Ever Tha Goat, a heartfelt EP dedicated to his late grandmother, followed by Rise II Infinity: The 1st Chapter on March 9. His mixtape Anticipation, also honoring her, arrived July 21. With singles like Blood & Gold and Keep Up, Metro D continues to evolve, preparing to release his new album Titanfall on January 25, 2026.
