The idea for remixing 'Endless Wave' came about whilst reading about a fantastic photography book by Michael Moir & Jamie Brisick called 'The Eighties at Echo Beach' (check it out btw it's well worth it)

The book is essentially a beautifully nostalgic look at surfing during the 80s, and whilst looking at the images online, the original 'Endless Wave' came on random within iTunes, and the rest is history...

Imagine if Don Henly's 'Boys of Summer' & 'Kim Carne's 'Bette Davis Eyes' had a child, and that child grew up and fell in love with Solar Stone's 'Seven Cities' and you'd be halfway there...

Driftmoon has reinterpreted Playme's classic and one of Abora's all-time bestsellers by doing a whole new mixdown, by going to the park to record live birds, and more.

Armin played it on ASOT 635, doing a mashup with Dave Asprey - Bellerophone for the first 50 seconds of the track. And the next week it won Future Favorite! Thanks for your support!
