The prolific and consistent classically trained American composer and multi instrumentalist RIFF KITTEN (try saying that quickly!) drops his third album in as many years on Freshly Squeezed. The album includes the strongest singles from 2022 plus another handful of unreleased material. His trademark dark electro swing sound now gives way to a more frenetic and upbeat jazz influenced approach. Racing pianos, bouncing horn lines, saxophone riffs and double bass all collide with electronic flourishes. There are only a few vocal tracks, but a confident showing of new instrumentals from a young producer really finding his groove.

Das neue Studioalbum "SUMMER" von Herbert Pixner Projekt kommt wieder in gewohnt vielseitiger Pixner-Manier daher. Allerdings noch experimenteller und ausgefeilter als die Vorgängeralben "Live im Konzerthaus in Wien" und "QUATTRO". Manuel Randi bringt bei vier Songs mit seiner halbakustischen "Gretsch" ein komplett neues Klangbild in das Projekt mit ein und als Gastmusiker bereichert der serbische Cimbalom-Virtuose Michael Kurina dieses Album. 
Ein musikalisches Sommergewitter mit lauer Sommernacht inklusive. 
Veröffentlicht im eigenen Label Three Saints Records. Bereits im Februar 2017 erhielt dieses Album den „Gold Award“ der „IFPI Austria“.
