This is a really special set for me, every fnf event happens because of amazing volunteers, people who step up to make the event happen. I was fortunate to play a role in certain areas that are dear to my heart. I put a lot into it, and it put a lot back into me.

In these strange and challenging times, we need friends, family, and community more than ever. For that reason, I've created a series of online gatherings under the 'We Are One' banner as a means of bringing people together from all corners of the globe to laugh, love, and dance (like no one's watching).

These social events put YOU first, with a High Definition audio stream via Mixlr and additional capacity for up to 100 Zoom video attendees. The first event was a huge success and there'll be a second 'We Are One' on the weekend of 25/26th April 2020. Details on the website.

This set was created using Ableton, an APC40 Controller (that I found at the back of a cupboard and had never used before) and a LaunchKey MIDI keyboard, and as such it's as much about on-the-fly live performance as it is about straight-up DJ'ing. Enjoy!

She invites elements from all musical forms into her house — from funk to rock to hip-hop and more — creating a vibe that is eclectic and free. Freeda Sol maintains a radical commitment to the joyful celebration of humanity and house music. After all, life’s too short to take things too seriously — especially the very music that should be releasing us from the fetters of our everyday existence.
