We met Sydney (CLARA-NOVA) on a tour of the east coast a few years ago and really hit it off. We had always wanted to collaborate on something together, so recently we hung out in our studio and wrote "Matchstick" over the course of one afternoon. It went so well that we decided to do a couple more songs and make a three song EP out of it. We covered Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" and tried to make it a bit more synthy and upbeat. The third song, "Last Call," started out as a kind of ABBA-esque piano ballad, but quickly turned into a melancholy, synth-pop break-up song. We hope you enjoy!
