Introducing Slamboree to the Rat Records family! A live band with a smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers. Taking each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from their collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically they fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, pyrotechnics and circus.

The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub, techno and electro fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... All original and all live. This all translates in the studio to an incredibly fun, quirky first release on Rat Records, entitled "Cheeky Peppers".

Rat's head honcho, Deekline, applies his midas touch and turns it into gold in a way that only he can! Given unique elements to work with, he manages to integrate them into something a little left of centre for him, yet somehow still distinctly Deekline.

Bournemouth crew Freefall Collective make their well-deserved debut on
Rat Records with a barnstorming cut that will have the bodies flying
round the room. Splicing rave-fuelled energy with ragga-driven
breakbeats of the chunkiest order, Renegade is the absolute boom ting,
a party shocking slice of rollicking rudeboy bass and rhythm with
truckloads of attitude and verve.

Label boss Deekline gets his hands on the collective's
iconic Ganjaman track from earlier in the year and recruits the mighty
Rubi Dan to drop driving vocals over the top for a booming shot of
siren mayhem. Titled the Swagger Jackin' VIP mix, the result is an
instant floorfiller that can't help but get the place jumping.

On the flip, Renegade is the absolute boom ting,

Mike Wilson aka SONEK is a rising producer/DJ hailing from Calgary, Canada. This talented DJ entered the breaks scene many years ago and managed to share stages with great artists of the international electronic scene. As a logical step to his career he had started producing quality, phat and ultra funky Breaks music with touches of Electro and Booty power. His first remix for V.I.M.BREAKS showed the face of light back in the end of 2011, and since then he never looked back. During 2012 he managed to build a really promising profile with releases for BREAKZ R BOSS RECORDS and YOUNG NRG PRODUCTIONS. He was also one of the two winners of the DIABLO LOCO RECORDS remix competition, showcasing his remix for SYNTHETIC HYPE's-SLAP DA BASS.
