Q: Who is your biggest inspiration in music?
A: I don't really have one. I'm inspired by almost everything I hear.

Q: How long have you been producing?
A: Since August 2017.

Q: What made you like Auxy better than other software?
A: Auxy has an easy-to-use interface, and it's probably the most high quality mobile DAW. I'm also a huge fan of its soundpacks.

Q: What's your current favorite song?
A: That's a hard question. I've been listening to We Were Just Kids (Part 2) by Mount Dreams a lot lately. (https://soundcloud.com/mount-dreams/mount-dreams-we-were-just-kids-pt2-16-bit-master)

Q: Who's your favorite undiscovered artist?

Q: What music do you listen to to get inspiration for your music?
A: Generally everything, I’ve got about 50 playlists sorted by genre, song structure or specific emotion that I listen to if I run low on inspiration. That almost always works for me.

Q: Do you have any tips for aspiring/new music makers?
A: The beauty of music today is that literally everyone can start without fancy equipment or resources. And as long as you’re passionate about it I think it deserves appreciation. The good thing: there’s an audience for everything :)

Q: Do you make music as a hobby, or are you looking to make a career out of it?
A: For me music is way more than a hobby, since it’s pretty much the only thing that I can fully indulge into without feeling any pressure to perform. I’m in it out of passion, just because I love doing it.  And I’m fine with whatever that may lead to. 

Q: Do you make music primarily in Auxy, or do you use a different DAW?
A: I play different instruments and make a lot of acoustic music. But electronically I mainly use Auxy – this is how I started a few months ago and I love the simplicity and yet efficiency for the creative process. But I’m getting into Ableton more with the goal to mix both of those worlds in the future. 

Q: What do you like to do in your free time (e.g. hiking, programming)?
A: I’m mostly busy with music to be honest – if I’m not creating it, I’m listening, thinking or secretly dreaming about it :smile: other than that I like to spend my time with a variety of sports, a lot of reading, writing, cooking, meditation and friends.

Q: Are you interested in a career involving music? Why or why not?
A: I’m not sure if I’m musically talented enough to continue this whole Auxy thing, but I’ll certainly consider it if I get popular enough.

Q: How long have you been using Auxy?
A: Since January of 2016 - 2 years.

Q: What goals do you have for 2018?
A: I want to make a song that gets featured in the Auxy app. I also want to figure out what career path I want to pursue; engineering, music, or programming.

Q: What are some of your other hobbies other than music production?
A: I love to bike, take pictures, and play Destiny 2. I’m going to join my high school’s mountain biking team this year.

Q: If you had one short statement to encourage uninspired producers, what would it be?
A: Play around with the UI until you grab hold of something!

Q: Are you interested in a career involving music? Why or why not?
A: I really want to pursue one, but I'm not sure if it'll pan out. Hobby for now.

Q: How long have you been producing, and what DAW do you use?
A: Been around since January of 2016 but I officially launched the tapatoru project a few months ago as a way to create more music without the fear of most of it falling on deaf ears. Over the 3 year time period since that fateful January morning I've come to know Auxy pretty well, and I've just begun using it in conjunction with my real life instruments!

Q: What goals do you have for the rest of 2019?
A: I hope to release with more labels, become more known in the synthwave aesthetic community, and make some new friends this year!

Q: What are some of your other hobbies other than music production?
A: Pina coladas and getting caught in the rain come to mind ;)

Q: What’s your best advice for new producers?
A: Even if you can't make it big with music there's no use giving up on it altogether if you like making it.
