This week we welcome upcoming star @leena-punks to the mix series! 2023 started with a bang for the rising DJ/ Producer with a second Hottest Record on BBC radio 1 by Charlie Hedges for 'Dawn of the Dead'. 2022 was also a busy year for the young artist. After releasing on New State, a feature on LP Giobbi's compilation on Insomniac records and a remix on Stress records, her AnjunaBeats track debut 'On The Floor' was picked by Charlie Hedges as BBC Radio One's Hottest record and gained lots of support from Jaguar, Sarah Story, Adele Roberts and Ben Malone on KISS FM. We can expect lots of new music coming in 2023 following support from the likes of MK, Meduza, Gorgon City, Above & Beyond, Robbie Rivera, Lane 8 and many more.

I felt the biggest honor to play Monday sunset at DISTRIKT for Burning Man 2023; their parties were a highlight of my first (2022) burn. The day was scorching, and I was still mentally adjusting to the playa having just traveled from Thailand two days prior. I went into the set without a plan (as always) but with an intention - balancing fun and emotion. I tested quite a bit of unreleased tracks and edits, as there is no better place to push your boundaries than the playa. As the sun began to set, the temperature cooled, and the energy of the crowd went through the roof. I’ll never forget this stunning evening.
