
As a DJ, producer, and live performer, Loxxe draws inspiration from 80s and 90s electronic music, melodic trancy synths, and retro gaming sound palettes—blending warmth, drive, and nostalgia in equal measure.

2025 is shaping up to be her breakout year as a producer, following her debut track on Gene on Earth’s Limousine Dream (as part of his annual student production competition compilation). Her first full EP, Float Phase, is due this summer on Belters4U, with more releases already on the horizon.

This mix is made entirely from 90s/early 2000s CD rips—sparked by a random find: a box of old CDs left on the street. That discovery led her into the collection of her ex-DJ friend Anomaly, resulting in a trippy, techy trance voyage through classic and overlooked gems.

Flip The Lid is here on a monthly basis with the aim of 'flipping the lid' on some of most exciting artists across the globe, as well as recognising some of the mainstays of the scene. Expect a mixed bag of sub genres within the harder, rave side of dance music with a nod of homage towards progressive, trance-like and heavy hitting house music and bouncy groove-inspired techno. Rooted in electronic music since her teens, SALIMATA blends rhythmic house, soulful vocals and dynamic percussion into an infectious, high-energy groove. 
Since debuting at Watergate in late 2023, she’s played at Kater Blau, Aeden, ELSE and other venues and festivals across Germany and Europe. Alongside the event series GLAZED, she curates “SALIMATA invites” at Studio 1111, fusing music, art and performance into multidimensional nights.

"This mix moves through different decades of house. From 90s Italo and Latin grooves to 2000s underground gems and some newer bouncy tracks. It’s showing how those rhythms connect and I love that pulse, vocals and melodies which are the essence to tell a story. Some of these tracks I’ve played lately at daylight events/festivals or in clubs, while others are new to me on the dancefloor. So bringing them together here opened up a whole new energy."

An album made by Victor and me, coming from a shared interest in 90s breakbeats. It has four tracks that shift from calm atmospheres to steady rhythms. The opera mix is quiet and spacious, built from tones rather than beats. The space mix adds drive, with breaks, basslines and touches of acid. The club mix keeps things grounded and direct. Victor’s Hypnotoad mix ties it together in a way that works both at home and in a club.
