freesample ist ein online_label für elektronische musik. dabei beschränken wir uns nicht nur auf ein
bestimmtes genre, sondern suchen innovative künstler mit kreativem sound und stil, die unsere
attitüde teilen und mit uns zusammenarbeiten möchten. egal ob techno, drum‘n‘bass, dub etc.
wir releasen ausschließlich musik, die von herzen kommt und das gewisse etwas hat.

ausschlaggebend für die gründung von freesample waren die zunehmende kommerzialisierung von
partys und der nervig quälende einheitsbrei von elektronischer tanzmusik. dazu kommen künstlerkult
und ein publikum, dass für unbehagen sorgt. schimpfen ist zu einfach, lustig aber nicht unser ding,
machen ist besser.

sicherlich gibt es dazu keine patentlösung, doch wir versuchen, mit unseren aktionen gleichgesinnte zu
erreichen und eine community aufzubauen, die einfach nur spass macht und hat.

wir machen musik, wie wir sie selbst gern hören und veranstalten parties, wie wir sie selbst feiern
wollen, die es aber leider viel zu selten gibt. nicht gast sondern teil der community zu sein ist wichtig.
günstige getränke und speisen schaffen von vorn herein gleichberechtigung. keine
oder zumindest sehr niedrige eintrittpreise sind teil unseres konzeptes und es gibt musik die von herzen
kommt. all das, und das ist uns sehr wichtig, geschieht ohne gewinnerzielungsabsicht.

freesample is an online_label offering electronic music for free.
But we're not just stickin' to one special genre, we're looking
for innovative artist with a creative sound and style, who'd like
to coorporate with us. techno, drum'n'bass, dub etc., anyway we
don't mind. we only release music comin' straight from the heart
and having the certain something.



decisive for the founding of freesample was, that we felt parties
growing more and more commercial, in this case effecting the quality of electronic music negatively. in addition artist are somehow hovering above the crowds - celebrating more personality cult and less the party - and the audience makes you uncomfortable in numerous occasions.

but grumbling about these facts is too easy, funny, but not our
style.

actually there's no solution solving all of these problems, but
we're trying to find like-minded people supporting our actions,
to create a community having good mood and fun.

we use to play/produce music, we like to hear and stage parties
we like to celebrate, but which are too rare. important is not
to feel like a guest, but rather to be part of the community.
besides, cheap drinks, food and no (or low) admission charges
give you a feeling of equality and are therefor a firm part of
our concept. All this, an that's pretty important for us, happens
without any intention for benefit.

Silvio looks back on over 30 years of electronic DJ culture. He uses his musical space without limited by genre.
Silvio is both, producer and dj for electronic music, playing a wide range from house, deep house, deep dub detroit and techno sounds.
His DJ sets are preferably long starting from the scratch and lifting you to the top of the mountain.
As a producer, he is related and works for labels such as FAD, Movida, Waterkant Souvenirs, Free Sample, Korten Vertonung, Ferienliebe Tonträger, FLRecords or CLR.
