Free Shelter invites the Brooklyn based/Rio De Janeiro raised DJ and radio-host @marimacdowell for the sixth installment of their guest mix series on IDA Radio.

DJ and record collector for over 15 years Mari Mac Dowell, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, now resides in Brooklyn, NY, where for three years she has been expanding her collection of obscure brazilian and african records, new-wave, house and boogie. 

Mari became a regular in the booth of a few underground clubs in the city such as Mood Ring, Jupiter Disco and Public Records. Inveterate music researcher she is always looking for hidden gems to elevate you to other frequencies. She hosts a weekly show at the Brooklynite FaceRadio with her Synth Waves program every Thursday.
