For our introductory adventure into new label ‘Oath’, Hidden Spheres – forger of anthemic grooves – takes us on a four-track joyful journey through relaxation and movement.

Title piece, ‘Breathing Deep’, foreshadows the EP and the label with a lounge-y, afro atmosphere thrown into a second half of gloopy acid. The track builds and builds, going from soft keys to intense stabs and a frenzy of percussion.

About the edit : " "I first got to know to this song via my friend Markus who introduced the Global Village's album to me. I fell instantly in love with the vocals and percussions of the Robenji Doom Doom track. In my edits there is always a functional reason why I start making one. The original track was too restless for my taste and I decided to make a bit deeper and darker than the original was. 
Vocals and percussion was the core and I made the edit around them. I added new drums and made new baseline and synth melodies. I did a massive restructuring in the song's structure and played with some effects. All the elements clicked together very well and fast I was really happy with the result. The edit works really well in the early hours in the club and also as played a bit faster in the peak time hours. Definitely one of the best edits I have made so far. "

The story behind the edit:
@aaronmaple first discovered Amira Saqati through a mixtape he was listening to via Soundcloud last fall. He remembers quickly browsing Amira Saqati's discography after the discovery and enjoying many songs from it. Hel Aeynik's vocals and melody got him right away. 
Aaron Maple version is a dancefloor oriented version with more groove to play at peak time. He recorded new drums and a new bassline. And he reorganized the structure and played with samples but kept vocals in the core element of the song.

Fauve Records head honcho RFX kicks us off with his work on Assid Rayn. With the infamous releases on Fauve as well as the always welcomed Bandcamp Friday special “Ephemeral Edits” releases, we’ve been waiting to collaborate with this fella and me-oh-my was the wait worth it. ASSS-ASSSIIIIID. We continue with a couple of legends in this so-called “edits game”. Running Hot, the infamous duo from UK that does not need any introduction, and among our personal favourites. Our homegrown Aaron Maple continues on the third act, where he does his usual magic on My Maya. To end the 9th edition, Miro-Benji breaks the beat with World Championships. A track that stays true to its title and works just as well in a sweaty warehouse as it does in a Colin McRae rally game in the arcade hall.
