Ab 1992 - Matthias lernt im Alter von 8 Jahren Gitarre spielen. Anfangs auf der Konzertgitarre, später wechselt er auf Western und E- Gitarre.

1997 - erster öffentlicher Auftritt bei einem Talentfestival in Singen mit Beatles Songs, zu denen er sich selbst mit der Gitarre begleitet.

Ab 1998 - erste Eigenkompositionen mit Gitarre.

Ab 2002 - Matthias hat ein eigenes Home-Recording Studio. Er komponiert, mischt, mastert und spielt alle seine Songs selbst.

2010 - Aufnahme seines Studioalbums "Sarah".

2007- 2012 - Mitglied des Duos "Guckert&Godart", deren letztes gemeinsames Konzert im August 2012 stattfand.

Oktober 2011 - Matthias wird als Gitarrist und Sänger Mitglied der Band "Speelodic".

Seit August 2014 - das Duo Guckert&Godart besteht wieder und wurde durch Tomas Söchting am Bass zum Trio erweitert. 
Außerdem ist Matthias immer wieder mit Solo-Auftritten und bei Sessions auf Tour.

April 2015 - Matthias verlässt die Band " Speelodic"

Mai 2015 - Matthias macht solo weiter, mit Acoustic Gitarre und Vocals. und arbeitet nebenher an seinem neuen Studio Album.

PsyToHigh is more than just a stage name – it's a mirror of a torn soul, an echo of darkness that makes its way through beats and words. His story begins in a fog of pain, grief and confusion. A toxic relationship left deep scars – not only in the heart, but also in reality, which slowly began to crumble.

Lost between delusion and reality, a mask was formed—an image of itself that laughed when it cried and struggled when it broke. PsyToHigh still wears this mask today - but in every track a piece of it falls off.

His music is a gloomy diary, every album a chapter, every EP a cry for truth. Clues are hidden in the texts – fragments of a truth that reveals itself only to those who really listen.

PsyToHigh transforms pain into sound. Every beat is a heartbeat, every verse a thought that the darkness could not devour. And so he tells
