Bio : 

It’s possible that you might not know the name Luuk Cox, aka Shameboy, yet but it’s more than likely you’ve heard his work as the Belgium based multi-instrumentalist producer and electronic music artist has had a hand in more than 30 albums over the past decade.
Whether racking up production credits for the likes of Stromae, Marco Z and Girls in Hawaii, playing on releases by artists such as Arsenal, or remixing everyone from underground house heroes Booka Shade to pop stars such as Kelis and Nicki Minaj, Luuk’s reputation in the business is second to none.

Now though it’s time for him to fully emerge from the shadows as his Shameboy project, originally a ‘playground’ for him to ‘mess about’ with electronic sounds, finally takes center stage. Though with three acclaimed Shameboy albums, including 2010’s hit ‘808 State of Mind’, already under his belt it’s clear he’s long passed the ‘messing about’ stage no matter what he says.

I am working with music for almost 30 years and I start mixing tracks with two cassette players when I was about 10 years of age (playing radio DJ) with old disco music from the 70s and 80s. Not long after that when still listening to rock and disco music from my old vinyl records that belonged to my dad, for instance, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Police, and many other variated sounds like the synthesizer's greatest collection.

It was there that my love for music started to evolve into a more serious thought of becoming a DJ one day. Now in a little time leap in 2010 I bought my first midi DJ controller the Behringer BCD 3000 which soon became a Reloop Digital Jockey 2 anyways I'd love to perform in my house with I think it was Virtual DJ (got to start somewhere) Long time short in 2017 I started due to illness have more motivation to produce the tracks that I loved myself mainly back in that day it was mostly Techno, Trance, and some Harder styles.

And the next chapter is having this new record label Bass Controllism Records in 2021 where we give all talented people from around the globe a platform to go to and mingle with like-minded people.

Too eventually, start up some nice collaborations and projects with each other.

Now we have started a new venture

Starting at the vinyl decks when she was 20. And the thing she always most liked is going to the clubs in Belgium most. But when she came in Berlin 6 years ago for the first time. She knew, here i want to be! She has now exposed contemporary dj controllers and is very enjoyed how much she likes it and also getting good vibes from the people. She played her first dj set at 
01-01-2022 at club Enchanted where she is playing TechHouse as Lucky Isis and made her second set which she very much likes.
