This is a beat I crafted from the heart—originally an instrumental, but something in the mood called for a voice that carried weight and soul. Biggie’s voice felt like the perfect fit.

I’ve always found Biggie to be incredibly talented. His tone, presence, and raw honesty in his delivery were something else. Even though he left this world way too soon, he gave us an eternal legacy—his voice, his words, and that iconic energy that still resonates today.

This is my humble tribute.

I've been a longtime admirer of Janine Levinson's work on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/janinelevinson. I thought immediately thought that this song would be a fine fit for us to do together. I had only heard it randomly played on Spotify about three weeks ago, but really dug the bittersweet cynicism of the lyrics and the fine melody to boot. Janine's vocal work on this is incredible. She was such an awesome person to work with and get to know.
