The next local DJ up on our local series is Surge co-founder Siggs. Siggs started his DJ career in 2019 and is one half of newly formed Glasgow collective Surge which aims to showcase local artists who play hard hitting and fast paced dance music.

In addition to hosting Surge nights, Siggs is also a resident for It’sNotRadio where he plays a monthly show further exhibiting his passion for tunes on the heavier side.

Utilising both analog an digital processes, most notably the NF-1m from Modor and the Analog RYTM by Elektron, to create a warm but also airy mix. Taking influence from human integration with technology this EP eludes to themes such as collective conciseness with artificial intelligence, voluntary prosthesis and our digital phaneron.

D4NCON is a 22 year old DJ and Producer from Glasgow. He has always had a love for music since he was young but this has now fizzled through to Electronic Music. He started going to parties over the city which made him fall in love with the electronic scene.

He previously played under the alias, Databass where he played in venues such as Buff Club, Broadcast and Nice and Sleazys. He has played at many of Glasgow’s underground after parties and recently made his Room2 debut supporting Viper Diva.

He is now playing under his alias, D4NCON, which is heavily inspired by genres such as Hard Techno, Hypnotic and fast rolling grooves.

However, this mix is extremely diverse and will go from Schranz to Donk in under 30 minutes. Lock in for a mental ride
