Local Selector Series

To start off our new series which focuses on DJs and Producers from Glasgow and surrounding areas to showcase what they are all about in a rapid 30 minute mix, we invited ISORA. 

Isora has then become a resident at Glasgow based Electro + Ghettotech record label Hyperdome Records and at EPiKA, an all-female DJ collective based in Edinburgh, focusing her attention more on hardcore and gabber sounds, in combination with other rapid genres such as breakcore

Local Selector Series 01 - Isora

Second episode of our local selector series sees us invite manu_facturer for 30min of 150-170bpm madness.

Sean started making a name for himself in the middle of 2019 after being involved in Glasgow’s after-party scene.  Since getting into DJing Sean quickly got into producing, with releases now Tek-no Prisoners, Toxic Warm-up Society, Tnnlsystm and Still Distant Records.

As of more recent times he has opened for the likes of Nico Moreno and TRYM at ACLPs SWG3 parties alongside starting his own industrial techno label A.S.D.R with 3SBAT and Kalopsia, who you can see on the 26th of February in Stereo.

For our next show we managed to grab E2NMN to play a high energy techno set for you. Two hours of quality rave music in the context of her artistic vision as an antidote to the current situation.

E2NMN is a young talented DJ originally from Spain. Attracted by Berlin’s music culture, she decided to move to this city to begin her musical career. Her inspiration comes mainly from french techno and her mixes are melodic, fast and energetic. With her music she tries to express the most basic human feelings and her main goals are to connect people and make them dream.

Leon aka HAYAKU is a DJ from munich who found his love to electronic music on the Dancefloor.  Hey plays various genres with the focus on fast and energetic tunes. As he takes many influences from the copenhagen trance szene he often finds himself in the psytrance genre.

For the third episode we invited Hyperdome Records head honcho, DJ Bastard for 30 minutes of rapid electro and ghetto tech. 

Alongside Isora who we previously had on the series, the two have been making a name for themselves and their label, Hyperdome throughout the Glasgow scene with multiple events and releases that focus on electro, ghetto and everything of that nature. Within the next few months they are moving to London to continue to grow their brand and tear up a few clubs whilst they are at it. 

You can catch DJ Bastard playing b2b with Isora at Stereo on the 24th of March where they will be joined by Mi$$ Co$mix and Kush Jones

James has been involved in throwing some of the best parties Glasgow and Edinburgh has seen over recent years with MPC and BigFoot's Tea Party. E.FAN has been on the scene for a while, from starting to DJ just over 5 years ago, starting out playing house and tech house music, taking inspiration from Kettama, Mella Dee and Mall Grab to finally finding his sound of high energy, hard groove dance music from inspirations such as Robert Natus, Stef Mendesidis and FJAAK, as you will hear in this mix he is no stranger to high BPMs and Acid Basslines. 

E.FAN has worked his way through the scene by doing PR work for Animal Farm, which gave him an insight into the behind the scenes work that goes on to organise and run events. E.FAN then started his own event called Inertia NRG and, as a collective have played in Glasgow, Paisley, Edinburgh and Kilmarnock, E.FAN and the rest of the Inertia team have no plan on stopping putting on NRG filled nights, with there next one taking place on 8.10.22, where the boys have invited along Glasgow Powerhouse Eutony, to accompany them in the Club69 Rave Cave, tickets out now.
