A drummer from the age of seven, his intuitive ear naturally turned digital and has been catching the attention of industry heads in recent years. For this weeks podcast we’ve invited the Swedish old school techno legend Samuel L Session. Samuel has been active since the late 90’s and has since then founded the labels Solid Beat Records, Cycle, SLS and Klap Klap, on which he released numerous of timeless old school tracks including collaborations with such as Oliver Ho, Heiko Laux, Slam, Ben Sims and Deetron, to name a few. The trademark-sound of Samuel really has this really groovy style of African-Tribal techno, which is as relevant at this moment as it used to be back in the days. 

For FrenzyPodcast #091 Samuel took a dive into his archives, as the set was recorded at Flexible in 2012. The mix itself contains a lot funk and groove, but still has his threatening old school SLS vibe with some powerful percussions, shakers and drum influenced tracks. Bailey is also a co-founder of Night Service, a staple of the London party scene since 2018. The release of Bailey Ibbs VOLTA EP saw Night Service evolve from a party to a record label, going international with plays from the likes of Marron, DVS1, Setoac Mass, Rene Wise, Amelie Lens and more.

Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music at a young age. His studies in Sound Engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer improved his technical skills and the sound of his own productions. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to fulfil his own sound ideals. Influenced by early Detroit Techno and Berlin Dub Techno, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and IDM, he likes to break the frame. He demonstrated all this on his Glitch Club Series debut in 2019, instantly becoming a Glitch favourite.

He is just as impressive across the course of this set as he cooks up an intense ride through his deep affinity with Detroit techno and pumping rhythmics that will leave you out of breath.
