David Jorge De Carvalho Gil, conocido artísticamente como GORI, nació en Brasil y creció en Argentina, en una familia inmersa en la música. Su madre, brasileña, le transmitió la pasión por los ritmos cariocas, mientras que su padre, argentino, le inculcó el amor por el rock. Desde pequeño, GORI estuvo rodeado de una gran diversidad de géneros musicales, desde la samba y la bossa nova hasta el rock clásico.


Durante su adolescencia, encontró en el RAP una forma de expresión que lo marcó profundamente, no solo como una influencia sonora, sino también como una filosofía y una visión de vida. Esta conexión con el rap, con su énfasis en la letra, el ritmo y la cultura de resistencia, fue clave en su desarrollo musical y personal.


Con solo 20 años, descubrió la música electrónica y, especialmente, el TECHNO, una corriente sonora que lo atrajo por su intensidad y capacidad de trascender más allá de lo convencional. A lo largo de su carrera, exploró diferentes estilos como Hardgroove, Hardtechno, Raw e Hipnótico, hasta hallar el equilibrio perfecto entre lo Groove y lo Hipnótico.


Aparte de su amor por la electrónica, GORI es un ferviente defensor del vinilo, un formato que representa su respeto por la calidad sonora y la autenticidad de la música. We welcome Colombian techno master Adriana Lopez to Warm Up with this brilliant EP, five tracks that expose her own approach to techno sound, apart from temporary tendencies, with a character that is scientific and abstract and therefore timeless by definition.

This EP is a well-crafted combination of roughness and distortion with introspection and calm. It escalates from the glitchy pulses of the title track of the EP to the beatless and self-defining Quietly, with three sound missiles in the middle.

Negative Publicity is the first of those, minimal in the number of components but maximal in the effect provided. She works with the structure through subtle, almost imperceptible changes, enough to make the six minutes feel like a breeze.

No Fear comes next, again using just the necessary pieces to form the ammunition required for the mission: the right dose of distortion, the relentless sequences, the rhythmic tension…

Going Further is the third danceable exercise: metallic and merciless, deeply rooted in the finest UK tradition, pure pressure and machine funk mashed together.

Bio :

Electrorites, was born in Pordenone (Italy) in 1977. The rhythm of his father’s records was the background of his childhood ; then things got serious when he found himself  in front of his first consolle and an irrepressible musical passion took over.

Experience led his style to evolve, from progressive to electronic, until he arrived at a techno sound, without however being chained to a particular genre, demonstrating rather a vocation for free and open musical inspiration, fed always and in any case by experimentation.

Electrorites has now founded his first record labels, Shout Records in the 2010, Nightmare Factory Records in 2011 with a lot of great artists like Space Djz, Dave The Drummer, Bjoern Torwellen, Oliver Kucera, iFormat and more!
