The talented Swiss-born DJ, producer and mastering engineer, who´s running the label Bipolar Disorder together with his friend and artistic collaborator The Chronics, officially entered the scene back in 2018 and since then played in several well-known clubs in Europe including some gigs at Geheimclub as well. For this set Chlär shows us his interpretation of techno which is strongly influenced by 2000s tribal techno and a lot of 3-deck-action. We hope to see much more from the man in the future!

Materialising in the dank, unruly pockets of Australia’s warehouse rave scene, Tred now resides deep in Neukölln, Berlin, where he has sharpened a focus on his own narrative of modern club culture, identity and high powered techno weapons.

Cheeky, uncompromising and driven by an unrelenting tempo are common traits of a Tred set. This no bullshit approach has drawn the attention of the provocative Munich based queer collective Bottom Topixxx where he takes up residency. Whether it’s peak time at Säule or a closing set at Tresor, his sets emit restless energy that show little regard for genre definitions, assertively blending any style that he is entertained by. It’s rapid body music with an emotive tinge, all mixed with a flair that celebrates classic rave nostalgia, tribal groove and contemporary dance-floor burners.

A similar style emerges when you look into the growing back catalogue of Tred’s studio productions. Having had selected works pressed across imprints such as Lobster Theremin, 1Ø PILLS MATE, E-Missions, and Amniote Editions, what becomes obvious is his ability to capture the energy of many influences. Head-strong in approach, 2021 will see a number of debut’s further his sonic sensibilities.

At the forefront of the French techno scene, Antigone is today a leader and mentor for a whole new generation of electronic music producers and DJ's.

His entry into the world of electronic music has been highly acclaimed with his initial EP Forbidden Works published by Construct Re-form. Antigone followed his debut with the Menace of Species release on Concrete Music, offering him a warm welcome by his peers. 

His powerful DJ skills has guided Antigone to the doors of international clubs and festivals, rewarding him a residency for 5 years at Concrete, where he continuously gathered captived publics with a diversified and intense tracks selection, which definitely brought him a solid artistic reputation.

Musicwise, his meteoric ascent and the warm reception to all his productions make Antigone an emblematic player in the French Techno scene: The highly acclaimed Cantor Dust, establishing the beginning of a collaboration between Antonin Jeanson and Token, « We Move As One » on Dement3d, in collaboration with François X on Dement3d, his all-time complice or more recently, in 2017, his skills as a remixer have seen him rework Slam’s classic « Positive Education » for the 25th Soma Quality recordings anniversary amongst a remix for Carl Craig on Infine, and a first album « Rising « released  in 2018 on Token.

After a year break on releasing new music and working on the new path he wanted to give to his own career, Antigone has released his track ‘DANCE’ on Nina Kraviz’s Trip Recordings at the end of 2019- being the first French artist to release on Trip. Following this release, he has released tracks on Amelie Lens’s Exhale own label and Possession.

After months of work, he has just launched his own record label  - No Pain No Game.

This industrial groove sound blends into his high-energy and powerful DJ sets which have seen him headline events in cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Leeds, Manchester, Budapest, Glasgow, and more.

As stated yesterday, we have something to celebrate! We’ve reached the milestone of 75 podcasts. We’re really happy with how the FrenzyPodcastSeries is evolving, and the growing support we’re receiving! We want to thank the artists involved and the people who are supporting us each and every time. 

For this milestone podcast, we’ve invited no-one less than Verdorben head honcho and Rote Sonne resident Echoes of October! He would have been with us at the event on the 3rd of April, which is rescheduled with a date to be determined. Therefore we are more than happy that we can combine forces for the PodcastSeries! He gave it all for this one, and didn’t hold himself back: shoveling up the pace, with a staggering sound of his own, for a consecutive 2 hours.
