The Portuguese artist makes use of a thorough knowledge of classic techno and fuses it with modern sound design, the result of which is a signature sound that has seen worldwide support from tier-1 artists and mammoth labels such as Soma Records, Warm Up Recordings and Mord.

His continued evolution and forward thinking posture can be felt deeply in his debut album ’Flesh to Ashes’, where he seamlessly combines a dancefloor attitude with the experimentalism of IDM, but also at Hayes Collective, a tour-de-force techno label where he is a pivotal member.

Lastly, Artur’s progress and musical prowess have brought with it the opportunity to collaborate with artists he respects, namely Pfirter on ‘Life, Truth, Freedom, Fear’ (out on Mindtrip Music), Lewis Fautzi, for whom he remixed ‘State of Pressure’ (out on Soma Records) and Oscar Mulero.

The versatility and maturity of his sound and the breadth of his knowledge are clearly displayed in his discography, from feverish tracks like "Arcade" or "Eclipse" to deeper cuts like "Lowdown" or "Fall from Grace". His acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" on Luke Slater's Mote Evolver was followed up by multiple successful releases on labels such as Tresor Imprint and FUSE imprint among others. A regular at venues like Berghain, DeSchool or Fabric, Psyk has been around the globe sharing his unique blend of techno with the world. The attention to detail and craftsmanship he displays in his own productions has earned him well-deserved praise by industry heavyweights time and time again, be it on his own label Non-Series or elsewhere.

The autumn leaves flying in the air mark a new season, and the next chapter in the Nachtblumen Podcast.  

Thomas Hijmering is a Dutch DJ and Producer coming from Amsterdam. He started exploring music in all its facets from an early age. Curious by nature, and with an eternal drive for experimentation, Thomas has been involved with the local music scene with various projects. 

In the recent years Thomas appeared behind the booth as a part of the duo File Not Found with one of his best briends Brent Jacko, who is now running the independent electronic music platform Minimal Collective. This project focused on the wider spectrum of music, without any limitations or definitions, but one main thing - their immense passion for music. Nowadays, Thomas is also involved and contributing to Minimal Collective too.

In the post pandemic world, Thomas became a resident of the Amsterdam organization Orphic, which has been a big step for his career as a DJ. Being so close in touch with the core community of the Amsterdam music scene, inspires him to evolve as an artist and also help shape the sound of the organization every day. 

Characterized by hypnotizing sounds, groovy rhythms and beautiful layering, Thoms Traxx is an artist that tells a story in every performance of his. He easily adapts, and is capable of creating various atmospheres with a lot of dynamic depending on the place and company he is at. One reason for that is the wide spectrum of music that he appreciates. 

His artistic journey is taking a momentum already, as we are seeing him play internationally in Paris and Berlin, and all over The Netherlands. It's only the beginning for such a talented dedicated young man.

For this podcast, Thomas went deeper into his soul and created a journey that reflects his love for hypnotic techno. The next hour is a beautiful journey, recorded with a lot of thought and feeling, from an artist that surprises his audience every day. Get in the mood for ADE next week and start dancing already!
