Ka.za is a true techno newbie who fell in love with rave music barely two years ago. Since then, she has been exploring different styles, from deep hypnotic techno and edgy raw industrial sounds to hard techno. Nowadays, she is mainly drawn to minimalist beats and fast-paced rhythm. Together with Eva Falt and DJ Slater, she co-founded the Weltraum collective.

In this podcast, she decided to create a path starting with more hypnotic and deep vibes, all the way up to groovy and fast paced tempo. As a part of this journey, she was exploring both industrial and organic sounds to create mesmerizing soundscapes that should make you longing those late summer open air raves we all cherish that much.

This week we are joined by the Norwegian DJ and producer Takt. Musical expression has been a journey of development for her. From groovy and playful to up-tempo with tribal influences, high quality productions have always been her main focus. Her passion for techno has made her an appreciated producer and DJ. With performances at Amsterdam and Oslo, she has been a central figure in the scene, being part of numerous electronic music concepts and collectives.

We are delighted to introduce you LKY  a DJ/Producer from the UK who has been strongly shaped by the UK techno scene through running his own events, DJing and writing music since 2012. His style has naturally progressed towards the driving and hypnotic style of the genre building energy throughout. Born in the UK, Nathan Lockwood has been exposed to electronic music from an early age. With over 10 years experience in the scene from event goer to promoter to now a DJ/Producer playing all across Europe delivering Hypnotic rhythms with core dub influence throughout all of his sets. LKY’s first release in the more hypnotic specification of the genre was in 2020 for Drawner. Since then, LKY has released music on OECUS, SYXT and Secession. In 2020 LKY also saw the formation of his self-release series titled ‘LKY’ which was an opportunity to showcase LKY’s style and direction. LKY has also had great support for his releases from Pioneers of the scene we love and cherish such as; DVS1, Freddy K, Matrixxman, Setaoc Mass, Ben Klock and many more.'

He runs his own label Modular Synth Music, where he aims to showcase not only his own productions, but also from artists and producers pushing the boundaries of fast paced, rolling techno. Expect a crafted set of trippy sounds and pounding low frequencies.

For FrenzyPodcast no. 145 Serti created a one-hour mix full of high speeds cutting edge techno, about which he said the following: 'In addition to the set itself, I often try to push the boundaries in my sets. In this particular set, I aimed to find the sweet spot between a high-energy pace, minimal beats, and a vibe that is both danceable and dreamy. The goal was to create a sound that would be perfect for a club environment, while still maintaining an ethereal quality."
