After playing at the very first PAX event almost a year ago, Jephta has been a staple on our lineups ever since and we can´t get enough of his deep and hypnotic take on techno. Firmly embedded with the @Embodiment crew in Rotterdam as a resident DJ and organizer, Jephta has been able to grow surrounded by like minded people with a passion for club culture and electronic music. 

Developing a unique playstyle focussing on control, Jephta uses Native Instruments gear and Traktor to fuse the art of live performances with dj´ing. Creating new sounds on the spot by layering multiple tracks and loops, don't be surprised to hear your favorite track turned into something totally different when Jephta gets his hands on it!

With over 20 years of expertise and based in Tokyo, Ryogo Yamamori is one of the key figures in the Japanese techno scene.
Founder and curator of 951beat and Kagerou, where he blends a dense sound design with psychedelic aspects while remaining minimalist and immersive, he has also shared his music talent on a variety of different platforms, including Granular Spectrum, Modularz and Non Series.

For the 5th and last podcast of the Summer Series, we’re happy to invite the Brazilian-born, Berlin-based artist Amanda Mussi.

Amanda Mussi is a São Paulo-born DJ, producer, and curator, known for blending techno, acid, breaks, and house into fresh, dynamic sets. A key figure in the queer underground scene, Amanda ran the influential Dûsk party for five years and is now a resident at top Brazilian events like Mamba Negra, Dando, and Kode. 

In the past four years, Amanda has released music on labels such as LPZ, Massa Records, and The Lady Machine’s Unterwegs, while also co-founding Macro Hits, with a monthly residency on The Lot Radio in NYC. Amanda also heads .alt bookings, a collective promoting cultural exchange in South America’s underground scene, fostering collaborations with artists worldwide.

On Good Friday comes good music, and this time it's from the Japanese vinyl maestro — Daichi Wada!

Daichi began playing vinyl only eight years ago, inspired by his first visit to Berlin back in 2011. Since then, he has mastered the craft by digging and playing vinyl for hours every day.

His track selection spans a wide range of genres — everything from techno, industrial, ghetto tech, breakbeat, acid, electro, and '90s–'00s techno - which made him become one of Japan’s most prominent techno DJs of the new era, gaining recognition not only domestically but also across Europe.

Polygonia (IO | Lowless)

Lindsey Wang, also known as Polygonia, is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her preceding intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital musical language. She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundscapes with acoustic elements in it.
Together with Dycide and MTRL she founded the Ambient and DeepTechno Label IO.
