On 10th December 2013 Swedish DJ, producer and songwriter Linus Eklöw, AKA Style Of Eye, is set to release his animated new single ‘Kids’ featuring Soso through Ultra and Sony Music Entertainment. 

Known for his powerful club productions, immaculate songwriting skills and uncanny understanding of how to work a dance floor, Style Of Eye brings his multiple talents to the table on ‘Kids’. Fusing different sounds in characteristic style while balancing underground and pop sensibilities, it is an anthemic electro house track replete with infectious hooks, searing melodies and driving drums. 

The single will complete what has been an extremely busy year for Style Of Eye. He released one of the biggest tracks of the summer with ‘After Dark’ alongside Tom Staar, as well as receiving widespread praise for his remixes of both Seb Ingrosso & Axwell’s ‘Roar’ and Zedd’s ‘Clarity’, while as a co-writer on Icona Pop’s worldwide smash hit ‘I Love It’ he proved himself as a talented force not just in the dance world but in all facets of music. 

With a signature sound absorbed from growing up in Stockholm, Linus resonates with an amalgamation of Chicago house with a modern electronic spark, even though he confesses “Music, not genres is my motto. Whatever I feel is interesting at the moment will come out in what I do. I’d rather die trying to find that special place where time stands still than to safely repeat the same sounds over and over.”

"OH MAMA HEY" is a new single by a collective of artists with an amazing pedigree. The song features vocals by one of the greatest icons of house music, CRYSTAL WATERS. The music was played and mixed by the team of Grammy Nominated Producer CHRIS COX and award-winning Las Vegas nightlife pioneer DJ FRANKIE. The trio also did writing duties, and the song is diverse in that it combines hard electro riffs with elements of big-room house, fused with undeniable beats and builds. Our 25th Anniversary slot this week features Richard Dorfmeister who appeared on the show in 2003 and featured many times as one half of Kruder and Dorfmeister, as well as his project Tosca with Rupert Huber, amongst others. Opening with ECM artist Steve Tibbetts, his mix floats between Gui Boratto, his own lush edit for Selah Sue, acoustic guitar of Jeb Loy Nichols and the dubbed out Rhythm & Sound featuring Cornell Campbell on vocals. He then weaves through Pat Metheney, the dub version of Sunset from Grace Jones' last album, blues from Ry Cooder and ending with a couple of tracks from his recent Tosca album 'Odeon'.
