Tim Crookes also know as Frequency Hz is back, but not as Frequency Hz, this time he chose a fresh new name for a new project: F-U-I-T-A.
In the late 1990’s Tim started his musical career as a Techno and Electro DJ in and around West Yorkshire, England. His typical style was very recognisable, always bass driven and without compromise.
Tim was one of the few DJ’s at that time to perform without turntables but with merely two computers and a mixer, It was because of this new way of performing he could play night after night and still keep it fresh and exciting. And because of that Tim created a very reputable name for himself.
After a while Tim evolved into playing other people’s tracks along side his live sets just to keep it all fresh and vibrant. He became a resident DJ in The Studio 52, in Wakefield (south of Leeds) England.
And just as before, his trademark tools were his computers.
He stopped producing and performing in around 2003. He believed at that point, his musical career was not going in the direction he wanted. At that point he focused is talents on his bespoke car audio/multimedia business.
Around 2004 Tim started listening to a lot of breaks in the car audio environment,
Packing some heavy bass lines this was just what Tim needed to rekindle his love for the art of music creation.
It was only after moving to Belgium he began seriously thinking about producing music again. His friend Dee Bass (DJ producer and record label owner) asked him to do a remix of The Fresh Baked DJ’s track “Sip Pass”. Tim remixed the track into a funky breaks style, Due to this he was asked to join the BassBong Family. Now back in the UK Future wise F-U-I-T-A. Has a few more tricks up his sleeves,

general music lover, DJ and dance music fanatic!............ love basslines, piano loops, hands in the air moments, awkward twitchin tunes, drum n bass, wobbley tunes, getting smashed, playing out and of course The Elements DJs (www.elementsound.co.uk)! All my mixes are done using 3 x Pioneer cdj 1000 MKII's, Allen & Heath Xone 92 and a Pioneer EFX 1000. My mash-ups and re-rubs are done using Ableton 8. Most of my mixes are a mix of house, tech house, techno, electro house and progressive house. Although I love dubstep, grim and Drum n Bass I never mix them. Hope you enjoy my tunes!!.....
