◾How did you come up with your dj name: My DJ name stems from three sources: 1. I am a big fan of the James Bond series and the name of the bad guy group SPECTRE always stood out to me as unique.. 2. One of my favorite video game series - Mass Effect - uses the same word to describe the special group the main character is a part of. 3. Ghosts and spirits in general have always fascinated me so Spectre as a stage name really fits.
◾How and when did you get into djing: I got into DJ'ing as an open-format wedding and special event DJ. One night, about 15 years ago, a fellow DJ friend of mine invited me out to an old club here in Charlotte called Kazba and I was introduced to dance music for the first time. From that moment on I've fallen more and more in love with dance music.

◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration: For electronic music, my influences start with my absolute favorite DJ/Producer, Armin van Buuren. In addition to him, I love Cold Blue, John O'Callaghan, Solarstone, Marsh, Above & Beyond, Wolfgang Gartner, and Gabriel & Dresden.
◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I like to play emotional, uplifting, soulful music...mixed with heavier and harder tracks to create a dynamic journey-type experience. I look at each performance the same way a painter would a painting, with each track being a different color in the painting.

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist: I've never been great at predicting the future but I'd like to think that the best of times for me are still yet to come!

Biography: 
DJing has been a huge part of Montreal-based artist, Decker//’s life for the last 15 years. His first love, Drum & Bass, has always been a forefront, major influence. In the early 2000s, deep dark futuristic soundscapes of artist such as Blame, Seba, Future Engineers, Blu Mar Ten, ASC were a few of Decker//’s first muses for inspiration. This translates into his more current sound - Deep & Tech House, very distinct to his musical palette.
Over the past few years, Decker// has stepped up his game by playing regularly in his hometown Montreal. His first international gig was in Detroit, MI for Movement 2014 and he was a booked artist at ADE 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019 in Amsterdam.
Decker// has been flexing his Producer muscles in the studio as well with his first release on Stripped Digital, finding itself on the Beatport charts. His focus now is in his productions and listeners can expect more bass and groove from Decker// in the upcoming near future.

Lynsey started her journey into dance music in the early 90’s after friends took her to Renaissance at Venue 44 in Mansfield.  From the start she loved the progressive house and tougher techno sound and was a regular at The Orbit in Morley, Ark and Soak, Leeds.  She worked in a record shop at the time, 
buying her first set of Technics 1210's originally so she could do something with her addiction to buying vinyl.  

She began playing breakbeat in clubs around Manchester and shortly after that her voyage into DnB began. She landed 2 residencies in her home town of Huddersfield and 2 radioshows, which resulted in her playing at various events across the country.  She had a 5-year break whilst raising her son, but returned to the music scene in 2018. Her taste had changed back to her original love of progressive house and progressive breaks. A friend she met on the progressive house circuit encouraged her to get back on the decks.

Lynsey is known for building atmospheric breaks sets that meander through progressive breaks and progressive house effortlessly, inviting her listeners to join her on a journey. More recently she has been favouring
the darker, driving progressive house sounds too. 

Lynsey has 2 monthly shows on Subcode radio. 'Momentum' being her breaks show and Yana, a 6-hour showcase where she is joined by producers and dj's from across the world dance music spectrum.  She is sought after for guest mixes and is known for being a Dj's DJ.  She has reached top 10 with guest mixes on the Proton Radio station and has mixes on Frisky radio's archives, and DI.FM. 

She has connections with most producers, artists and labels within the scene as she runs the Progressive breaks, melodic breaks and electronica group on Facebook and is known to most as she champions the sound that she loves.
