"Trumours - When an rumour is sufficiently circulated that it becomes accepted as truth without needing to be substantiated / when a rumour actually turns out to be true / something which is simultaneously humorous, as well as accurate."

By giving album the name "Trumours", Gianluca sets the premise of showcasing the complex relationships between things, that people usually oversimplify with their biases and beliefs. In this case, the relationship between an artist and his creation, which an artist in question wants to polish to an unreachable perfection, in addition to that, leave small details for people to find. Somewhere in this relationship, the audience and the people that surround the musician play a key role as well, by not only giving recommendations and feedback, but also exchanging important experiences and knowledge with an artist. The relationships form; an endless stream / feedback of information is built, thus allowing one to grow even further and beyond in all kinds of directions.

Finding and internalizing the material for growth as a musician can be really complicated sometimes, since there should be a perfect balance between knowledge and soul. Too far from the perfect balance between these two and you lose yourself in disjointed parts of what you wish to really express.

For someone like our australian friend Joshua ÆTERNA, it can be a path for self-development; searching, trying, accepting and mastering something new, seeking the comfort and oneself within that discovery. That, for sure, resonates with one of the philosophical viewpoints of our label.

With this new EP, Joshua wanted to create something that reflects his current progress within the endless space of music, and showcase the relationship between stages of growth and falldown, eventual discovery and accepting this discovery as your own comfort zone before it falls apart; this process keeps repeating endlessly, an unstoppable cycle of movement that is about finding meaning and purpose in the things you want to accomplish; a spiritual, soulful journey.

Characterized by the unique blend of textures, atmospheres, sounddesign, harmony, musical lines and rhythm, this EP is fusion of everything Joshua wishes to currently figure out: how to create an emotive and cinematic inspired narrative that encompasses light and dark, the narrative that expresses a journey through difficult times, arriving at point of growth and clarity, that narrative in his mind that is dubbed "Paragoria".
