Melvin’s passion for electronic music began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by livestreams from James Hype and Michael Bibi, he quickly got his first DJ setup and started experimenting with Tech House and Dub Techno.

In 2021, his first Techno rave sparked a love for Techno and Hardtechno, leading to early sets uploaded under the alias Schneider on SoundCloud.

Kymatik first encountered Psytrance and Psy-Tech at the Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival 2023, inspired by artists like Bass-T73, Makism Dark, Dekel, and Jumpstreet. His style evolved into a hypnotic blend of Psy-Tech and Minimal Techno.

In 2024, at the Hai in den Mai Festival, his fascination with Full On, Darkpsy, and Psy-Tech deepened.

On January 31, 2025, he debuted as Kymatik, performing a Psy-Tech / Melodic Techno set at a Buonanotte party, which received great feedback. Shortly after the party, he released his first track „Psychedelic Dream“.

In June 2025, he played his Psytrance sound for the first time at LUNA by Buonanotte, shortly before releasing his first Darkpsy track „Robot March“.

With a love for psychedelic sounds, otherworldly tones, and haunting, hypnotic melodies, Kymatik creates a space for a journey that gently dissolves the ego into the vastness of consciousness.

Dj Bass-T73 born in Freiburg starts playing electronic music in 1994. First on small underground raves. After 30 years  experience and many many gigs in Germany he found his own sound: positive Tech House by day and crispy techno by night. Always fresh sound in best soundquality.
As resident at the Waldfrieden Festival, he rocks all time the Backyardfloor. Legendary his sets on the Antaris second floor.
