Today we've got a treat for you with a new single from https://soundcloud.com/tanebeatz titled "Inspirational Speeches" as apart of our ongoing singles series "Parallel Voices", curated by @slowya_roll to spotlight forward thinking fusion, broken beat, and experimental jazz - really, anything that grooves. 

Tane's new track is a saucy addition to his already broad collection of tunes. Known for his minimalistic and tasty productions, Tane fuses the flavors of early 2000's hip hop and neo soul with elements of old school funk and fusion. His masterful guitar playing and arrangement skills are highlighted on this grooving track, taking as much inspiration from the current new jazz scene with artists like Kiefer and Tom Misch as it does the older legends like Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheney.

Tane's been cooking up syrupy tunes for years now, through releases with Chillhop and Sundae Sauce, Instagram collab videos, and has even gone above and beyond to create his own acclaimed sample packs + he teaches lessons on the side! A true renaissance man - we're extremely happy with this release and cant wait to see what else he's got cooking up.

Frerick den Haan is a pianist and composer from The Hague (NL). Escaping the hectic pace of the day, he creates his own world with his compositions in which chaos is transformed into order, creating an escapade to a certain form of tranquility for the mind. Something many of his listeners can relate to. Den Haan continuously experiments in his music with elements from film music, classical music and pop music, consciously seeking out the melancholy of the piano.

Every week he takes a stroll from home through the adjacent woods and dunes and takes the inspiration he gains from there back to his home studio. With only two microphones next to his piano, the ideas flow from his mind right back into the piano.

With a short run-up, den Haan managed to find millions of people being captivated by his soothing melodies. In 2021 three of his compositions landed straight in a row in the largest Spotify editorial playlists, including Classical New Releases, Instrumental Study, Atmospheric Piano and Piano Chill; Apple Music's largest neo-classical playlist. His music was used in the short animated film L'Étranger composed and directed by illustrator and animator Sarah Pannekoek. The film was nominated several times at renowned national and international film festivals including FilmOneFest (USA), Framed Groningen (NL) and Longless Film Festival (IT).

In addition to his solo piano project, he plays keys in the Dutch indie pop band Handsome Poets, and recently wrote the music for an NFT art project by Beer van Geer; a generative artist from The Hague.
