«Fragment 1» is the first piece composed of recordings that have emerged over the past few years. These recordings originate from glasses and porcelain objects placed on plates, which are set in motion by synthesizers. Like a controlled earthquake, the objects tremble on the surface and begin to resonate. This sound is captured by 16 piezo microphones and processed through effects.
This working method is an adaptation of the sound installation Glas- und Porzellanabteilung, which was developed in 2021 for the Klang Moor Schopfe festival.
