The Hundreds San Francisco Celebrates Its 6th Year with a Hieroglyphics Collaboration Capsule and Mixtape

 In commemoration of The Hundreds San Francisco’s 6-year anniversary, The Hundreds reunites with Bay Area hip-hop legends Hieroglyphics for a limited run of three exclusive tees. These tees will be available only at the THSF and www.shophiero.com, starting at 11am, Thursday, March 20, 2014. On the evening of this date, The Hundreds will be hosting a one-night-only event celebrating the store’s anniversary at POST Street.  Exclusively for THSF’s anniversary, a POST X Hieroglyphics mixtape will be available for download on TheHundreds.com and www.hieroglyphics.com mixed by DJ ICEWATER.

 Bobby Hundreds grew up on the esteemed Bay Area collective’s music, and all of the tees include some of his favorite elements from the Hieroglyphics legacy. From a Souls of Mischief lyric from the renowned album 93 ‘til Infinity, to a spin on an OG Del Tha Funkee Homosapien tee that, according to urban hip-hop folklore, is based on a napkin self-portrait Del drew. The Hundreds is thrilled to unite again with the Hiero crew in commemoration of THSF’s 6th year running.

 The Hundreds “Del Face” T-shirt features Del Tha Funkee Homosapien’s iconic self-portrait illustration on the front and a reappropriated The Hundreds X Hieroglyphics bomb logo at the top back. The shirt will be available in three colors.

The “Emcees” tee is emblazoned with the Souls of Mischief lyrics “Emcees Should Know Their Limitations” from their legendary 93 ‘til Infinity album. The collaborative bomb logo will be at the top back with “Souls of Mischief” stamped under. The shirt will be available in three colors.

 The “Overthrow” long sleeve features the The Hundreds X Hieroglyphics bomb graphic across the front and top back, with all the members of Hieroglyphics’ logos throughout the sleeves. The shirt will be available in three colors.

Marley's music had an immense impact on me as a youth and still resonates today Like many, he was my first introduction to reggae and since my first listen back in the 70s and 80s to now, his music does and will continue to stand the test of time and impact generations of fans and musicians alike for  the high quality of song writing and his message of harmony and peace..

This is the DJ Six Cents - 2008 (''The Thirsty Bunch'') Teaser Mix. Also, known as (and or... instead of calling it a Teaser).  This was basically just a Turntablists', EP Length'd - ''mini-Mixtape'' for (again) the up-coming CD/LP by: The Thirsty Bunch - ''THE CANTEEN'' LP (Released in 2009) Available on: www.DatPiff.com 

This is a nice #8 Track of Teaser Songs, Final Mixed/Mastered Versions that don't even appear on the actual Canteen final LP. Therefore, this will suffice if you're a fan of the gist of the sickest Tracks off of The Canteen, and as well as having all the tracks being mixed down evenly, giving it that sonically synchopated, mixed and mastered down to the proverbial T sound that's sometimes overlooked on some projects, but this was down after the fact, with my funds, my hours and it came out really sick sounding. 

These Tracks were all ''individually'' Mixed in December of 2007 , and then almost 2 months later, in February of 2008, I went back to EARS by myself and had all of the Tracks ''individually'' Mastered & bounced down into wav & mp3 formats, both  (also) bounced down into CD, USB, storage. So with the tracks mixed, mastered and bounced down in to 2 separate formats (WAV. + mp3. files, and they were all saved onto #2 Master CDrs & onto my USB Stick)all this done by the EARS Captain of the Broken Spoke, making this for aural use only, for those with finest sonic palets, acting like Mozart on the boards at the Everglades Audio Recording Studio (E.A.R.S.), run  and owned by: Rubee Jaw aka NATE AUGUSTUS of the ACL + THE GLADEZMEN! 

With this specific detailed track mastering and with my closer to home Producer at Green Team Studios (Phil Green), I went to Phil's and we sat down for a #3 day session to even out the levels on all #8 songs and with this being such a tastefully done EP with an ear/eye for detail, and serious effects, cuts, samples and etc done by me (DJ Six Cents) which was recorded by both Nate of E.A.R.S in his South FL Studio & also Phil of Green Team Studios in his North FL Studio. 

This DJ Six Cents presents.. ''The PharmaSIX'' EP also features Track Versions and Remixes that DO NOT appear on THE THIRSTY BUNCH - ''THE CANTEEN'' LP/CD. 

I busted my ass putting this together, paying for MC's studio time while paying for 4 of the Beats as well, this was such an insignifficant Teaser / #8 Song mini-mixtape EP aka The PRE-CANTEEN brought to you by DJ Six Cents. Titled The PharmaSIX" EP 2008 on A Product of Six Cents Records.

Download this and enjoy, it's a half hour of dope, underground, hiphop with very ill beats and scratches n cuts, plus amazing production makes this an all around amazing 30 min EP!
