Fresh Micks is an American R&B/Hip-Hop artist originally from King City California, United States. He first began with music at age 9 when his mother encouraged him to take on Violin. Shortly after, Micks picked up several other instruments including guitar, clarinet, piano and others. Beginning in 6th grade, Fresh Micks began making music rapping and singing, with strong influences by artists like Drake, Bazzi, Post Malone, Kehlani and others. In high school, Micks quickly made a name for himself within the local community with a series of mixtapes and free verses on YouTube, only adding fuel to his love for music and further .

At age 18, Fresh Micks made the step to pursue music more professionally. He honed his skills, putting countless hours in writing, producing, and being a mix engineer. By the age of 22, Micks leaped into music full-time, establishing himself as a songwriter and bonafide artist. He was named one of The Source’s top rising artists of 2021 and landed an opening gig for Trippie Redd shortly after, cementing his spot in music. Micks’ role models today consist of the likes of some greats such as Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Summer Walker, Drake, and Kiana Ledé.
