This is my DIY Virtuous Guitar Record, a culmination of four years of experimenting, vigorous writing and
exploring new ideas as an Artist. It is a love letter to my Dublin home, my once French habitat and my
London Life.
Most of the recording was done at night in an arts space in Bermondsey that also functions as a Recycling
Plant. Over the course of a year and through all seasons, I tracked guitars. An unimaginable amount of
takes, power outages and occasional bleed from the machines all married into the takes used for the album.
I recorded the vocals in my house, the drums in Joe’s sitting room and the guitar for Ma Cherie in my
mother’s house the morning of a friends funeral who had passed away a couple days prior. Ma cherie also
took 12 years to write. The Drums were performed by Joe Taylor (Malana Zavala) with additional bass
tracking by Jamie Keegan.
I decided to abandon the piano synth pop sound from my Breaking Ballets EP which featured on Nialler9 and
got me Ireland Music Week 2013 (Hard working class heroes) because I was conforming to what was cool,
not finding my voice and was heavily depressed by it.
For Music Theorists, there’s some cool guitar voicing to listen out for, a key change in their somewhere and
some motivic movements near the end of Side B functioning as a Coda of sorts.
The Album is entirely self-funded including the limited vinyl pressing.
It took me six years to get to this place.

Apocalypse Party

Trippy catchy hip-hop anthem from two young Ghanaian artistes, Brapurple and Kwame Yesu. Money, they say, is one of the topmost priorities as a man, these young artistes shed more light on how it affects them from their own viewpoint. Thus, the title “FLEES” as elucidated by Brapurple means “ever readiness or looking sharp”. This sound recording is played adagio with a very slight energetic alteration. This record was written, recorded and produced over the course of eight months subsequent to the release of Love and Light.
Listeners will find themselves hitting repeat, never wanting the music to end

'To a Place' is the first single lifted from "Starlings & Crows", the stunning new album by English ambient-pop artist Chloë March. The album sees release on the 23rd of October 2020.

For her fifth album, March drew inspiration from her early childhood in the Warwickshire countryside, nineteenth-century nature poet John Clare, and Lewis Carroll’s fantastical Alice Through the Looking Glass. Throughout the album there’s a palpable sense of wonder at the natural world, shot through with a deep concern for nature’s vulnerability. Starlings & Crows resonates with notions of home on a macro and micro level. 

First single ‘To a Place’ is an elegant waltz built around swooning strings and piano. ‘Landing 1969’ sounds as astral as its subject matter would suggest, pulsing at the same tempo as Buzz Aldrin’s heart-rate as Apollo 11 left earth. ‘Remember That Sky’ is achingly emotive, showcasing March’s innate talent for creating an atmosphere of intimacy without compromising compositional depth. Despite running to a succinct 38 minutes, Starlings & Crows is lush and expansive, while distilled to its crystalline essence.
