Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Wednesday evening (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

"Here to Leave" is the third single of 17 y.o. Veronica, who makes her
songs on her own. This song represents loneliness and humbleness to
the fact that people leave you even if they promise you the moon. 

"This single is the revelation that I was hiding in the dark for my entire life, but now I'm ready to share my story, the story of ordinary girl that does her best to be someone. Loneliness is always something that we all have experienced even once. And it's painful and intimidating feeling that always pretend to disappear one day, in the time when person say to you that they'll be with you forever, but we all know it's not something real.
Loneliness… That's how this song sounds to me. When all you
always had was a pain, because people's leaving will never be fun, you
get used to it and start to think that there won't be the end of this war, but in the darkest corner of your heart, I know, you still believe that the end will be here.

"Here to Leave" is my beginning. Beginning of something that I was waiting for my whole life." - says Veronica.

So maybe it is the time to play the main role. We'll see.

"Help Him Out" is a comment on toxic relationships and the things that 
keep us in them. A hard-hitting track built around sludgy riffs and 
powerful drums, it retells one band member's experience of moving into 
London with a former best friend. The time was a painful one, two 
dissipating years of ups and downs, peppered with manipulation and 
obligation. A friendship bought and sold. This experience of living with a 
high functioning drug addict, and all of the denials that came with it, led 
to eventual profound realisation "Love is a funny thing, it changes with 
time, I think I've got his number but he's stolen mine..."

Sometimes it's best to just let it go.
